Tỉnh Kiều (Mao Thuần Quân) cùng chồng Edmond Mã Hạo Văn làm thiết kế sư ở công ty châu báu Long Phúc, do chị của Simon (Lê Diệu Tường) là Minh Tâm An (Lý Tư Kỳ) điều hành. Nhưng vì quá yêu và chăm lo cho chồng mà xao nhãng công việc, lại tích cực dành dụm tiền để mua trang trại mà Tỉnh Kiều trở thành một bà xẩm ham đồ rẻ, hám lợi nhỏ, tạo một ấn tượng không đẹp với người xung quanh, cũng dần dần phá đi hình ảnh một người vợ hoàn hảo trong lòng Edmond. Lúc này thì Kitty, một người con gái trẻ đẹp, lãng mạn đã yêu thầm Edmond, chuyện gì đến cũng phải đến, Edmond ra đi tìm một cuộc sống mới bỏ lại Tỉnh Kiều bơ vơ. After taking charge of her deceased husband’s jewelry shop, Ming Sum On (Louise Lee) makes it a big success with the help of both jewelry designers, Ma Ho Man (Cheng Tse Sing) and his wife Cheng Kiu (Teresa Mo). However, Kiu falls out with Sum after her divorce with Man for Sum didn’t tell her that Man was committing adultery. Sum’s youngest uncle (Johnson Lee) tries to mediate between them but it doesn’t work. On top of the dispute with Kiu, Sum is also troubled by administrative consultant Chu Bo (Lau Dan) who is assigned by her husband’s family and the rebellious step daughter Shek Ho Yee (Aimee Chan).
